It is a great pleasure to welcome you to our website.
Condamine State School was established in 1863 and functioned from a slab hut. Children got to school anyway they could, by foot, horse or boat.
Condamine State School has a strong tradition of excellence in academic, sporting and cultural activities. The school boasts an exciting and dynamic group of students, staff and parents who work together to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Our school motto is Honour and Endeavour, which our students exemplify each day. We currently have 26 students enrolled from Prep through to Grade 6 who make up a close-knit and supportive group of young people. Our students come from the Condamine township and surrounding properties.
We are an active community with many students and older community members engaging with sports such as; Rugby Union, Rugby League, Tennis, Rodeo, Clay Target Shooting, Athletics and Touch Football to name but a few. Our community members are avid supporters of the school and are always willing to offer assistance; whether this is in the classroom or around the playground.
Today the school has 2 multi-age classrooms (P-2 and 3-6), each supported by a teacher aide. We have a number of visiting teachers that provide us with HPE, Music and various support programs. The students enjoy a range of subjects, as well as sporting activities.
