Road Safety

Tuesday 11th saw Local Police officers visit Condamine State School to discuss Road Safety as part of Road Safety Awareness Week.

Students learnt about stopping distances, reaction times, importance of wearing seatbelts (even at low speeds) and how different driving surfaces affect stopping distances.

Students had an enjoyable morning learning about Road Safety.  They also enjoyed racing to beat the "speed gun".

Thank you Officer Pogan for organising the visit.  Condamine SS students had a great morning.
